The rule
One rule for every post
Since 31 August 2026, the Thai foreign ministry accepts a DTV application only with proof of permanent residence in the country where you file, and every applicant adds a certificate of criminal record clearance, issued by the country of your nationality or of your permanent residence. One certificate, not two. Applications submitted before 31 August 2026 are processed under the previous requirements. What the rule changes
